Who is the course suitable for?
This qualification is designed for learners who are using IT within their job or plan to pursue a career in a job requiring IT skills.
Leaners will demonstrate increased productivity in the workplace and learn how to work smarter.
Course content
The Level 1 award is focused on how ICT is used in the place of work. The unit looks at both computers and other technology commonly found in the place of work and explores the skills needed to use these.
It will boost employability by demonstrating essential ICT skills for office, admin, and tech roles.
Learners will gain practical IT use and develop basic skills using email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
